“How could they tell to the victim’s parents that their son was killed by gangsters, while he had committed suicide?”, said Rama yesterday while commenting this serious event which shocked public opinion. The PM added that the officer’s family had to face these political attacks for the same reasons these accusations have dominated the current political class in the country, “not caring the least about the pain that this family is going through”. “The cruel version that was given about the death of this young man is terrible and disgusting”, he added. But, the Democratic Party has immediately reacted with its MP, Edmond Spaho.
According to him, “the head of the government has assumed the role of the prosecutor general”. “The tragic event with the Interior minister is a mob style murder; it is not a fantasy scenario, contrary to what Edi Rama wants us to believe. During these five years in power, he has denied every scandal that involves him and his government in criminal affairs!”, Spaho said. Meanwhile, the family of the victim, Shkelzen Qordja, has reacted yesterday by demanding politicians not to spread fake news over their son’s murder for political gains. “It’s unbelievable how in these tragic moments that we’re going through, we have to put up with this sort of fake news spread by politicians”, the family declared.
